Programming Concepts

July 6, 2007

If you’ve ever experimented with creating programs in Leopard, then you know that the language enables you to start programming very easily and in a fun way, but due to a recent discussion on the Internet, I just wanted to assure everyone that future versions of the tool will include better support for intermediate programming concepts.

For example, logic and looping are two additions that are planned, and there’s much more to come.

As always, if you have any suggestions, then please feel free to e-mail me!

  1. I think Leopard is terrific the way it is. I’ve tried using other Programming Languages. But, I don’t have the time to sit there hour after hour learning how to use it. With Leopard, I can design programs in an hour or less. The only thing I wish to see in newer versions of Leopard is browser buttons (Back, Forward, etc).

  2. Whoops. That comment below this one was mine. I forgot to sign-in. lol

  3. Thanks for the feedback, Nicholas! When we implement intermediate programming concepts, you’ll by no means be forced to use them, but they’ll be there for those that would like to use them.

Leopard is all about simplicity, so that will stay the same.
